She won the title of Miss Globe International 2009 in a beauty contest held on November 1 at Sport Palace, Durres, Albania where she was selected from other 58 beautiful contestants from all over the world. Leila Bekhti is a famous Algerian French movie and TV actress. After getting her french literature Baccalaureate, Bekhti studies at the Theater School in Paris. She later attends classes at Tobliac with Stéphane Gildas, and at Art’aire Studio with Bérengère Basty. In the mean time, Leila works small part time jobs to pay for her tuition. She has done work in many successful films like The Beast (2009), Ali Baba (2007), Sheitan (2005) and Harkis (2006).

She became famous through the tv reality show which lasted over eight weeks, and she was finally crowned 1st runner up on the 8th of June 2006. Myriam was 20 years old with a height of 177cm, at the time of the vote she received 40 percent of the public votes.
During the contest, Rym El Saidi from Tunisia was selected as the winner, at the time she got 49percent of people votes. While Myriam might look like an ordinary woman, on the catwalk she is simply amazing, like a true runway model.
